You're right. The linesman made the call. It's their job to watch the changes and make sure they don't have too many men on the ice.

It's official: CBJ fans are the dumbest in sports

I'm watching Blue Jackets Live right now and all they said once the game was over was how bad of a call that was. Danny Gare said it shouldn't have been called because it was tied late in the game. Well you can't play with seven guys on the ice. It's a penalty. -
The boards in front of the Red Wings bench already took care of that.

Haha that's what I was thinking. I don't think that the NHL even needs drug testing. There is no need for players to take that kind of stuff. If players got that big, they couldn't play. According to the article, only one player has tested positive. And that was some guy I've never heard of. I'm sure they put testing in place because they didn't want to hear the flack from the media. It's the same reason why the PGA Tour put in drug testing for it's players. They know nobody is going to use that stuff, but they don't want the media all over their asses.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=418788 About halfway down it talks about Brodreau's response to Torterella's complaining about their faceoffs.

Who doesn't cheat on faceoffs? You are taught to cheat on faceoffs. It's just a matter of how good you are at it.

I feel you man. Those guys are bad. I can't stand listening to them. I was happy about the comment about Osgood in pre-game. I knew right then he was going to play a great game. It's a shame the Danny Gare (color analyst) was a former captain of this great team.
-
The ass clown announcers for the Jackets said he played good, but wasn't a big factor in the game. What? If it wasn't for him in the first period, they would have lost.

Per NHL.com, it sounds like he's not being fired. They just aren't going to renew his contract.

Can someone please make a picture of Rick Nash being terrified of Kronwall and realizing that what TJ Oshie did to him was flick of the finger?- 687 replies

With three games left, the Wings have scored 290 goals. Can they reach 300 for the season?

Ya know, the Thrashers might just be on to something

They also have this every Friday night. Man Plan -
I disagree. Although it was a great effort, he had four Blues standing around him doing nothing. Plus, Jack Edwards was announcing. That just ruins the whole thing.
-
It's the same way with Jacket fans right now.
-
Jeff Rimer for the Blue Jackets is far worse. He's horrible. He has Rick Nash's dick in his mouth half the game. But yes, Edwards is pretty bad. I remember when he did the Little League World Series. He was horrible back then.
-
Come on now. There's nothing to get all bent out of shape about. He didn't put any force behind it. It was just a tap. It's certainly not any worse than any of these: The things that he does are stupid, but that's all they are. They're not dangerous or unlawful. But that doesn't justify his expulsion from the league. The NHL has had players like this for years. I'm sure that Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay did things far more worse. The reason why it's getting so much attention is because there are a bunch of pansy asses in a politically correct country. OMG, someone made a bad comment about their ex. Who hasn't done that? Should people be sent to sensivtivity counseling everytime they say something bad about their ex? People just need to chill out and realize there are far more serious things to worry about than this.

Make that the first round.
