I'm sorry but I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. The Ducks just score to make it a two goal game and almost exactly a minute after this, as an unproven fighter, decides to drop the gloves? Why are you giving the Ducks ANY chance at gaining momentum and letting the crowd get back into it? I can appreciate the effort, but the timing was atrocious.

This has "WIN" written all over it.

I went to Game 2 of the first round against the Pete's and McCullom let in 4 goals on 13 shots. Other than that it was a great game. Cody Hodgson is an f***ing TANK. He's the only reason I'm jealous of Canucks fans because this kid is going to be an absolute stud for that team. In that same game I mentioned, he dropped a hat trick and assisted on the OT winner. Have you been to a Battalion game before? Let me know whatcha think of the Powerade Centre. It's certainly reflective of the "military" theme. lol "2 minutes remaining until ceasefire"

I'll start to panic in the 3rd period of the series deciding game, but until then, I've got full confidence that the NHL's best team over the last decade will win this series. The fact alone that the Wings put the puck in the back of the net before the game ended (that's how I'm viewing 'The Call'. ), should at least show that they're hungry as hell. What I liked about that game was that Helm was once again a monster for us, Datstuk is finally starting to get some time and space out there, Ericsson turned in another fine game, and Zata finally got on the board. What I don't really seem to be seeing a lot of around the LGW boards is any recognition that the Wings are shutting down the Ducks top line by holding them to just an assist last night. I'm hoping that this is an indication that the Ducks physical play is finally starting to wear on themselves because the Wings seemed to be the much quicker team (well, save for Cheli on that Selanne breakaway. ). Wings just have to get a lot more traffic in front of Hiller and players not named Samuelsson have to start shooting the puck a LOT more. GO WINGS GO!!!

Take every able bodied Canadian player that's available at the time, put them all on a list, and try compiling a complete team without being blasted in the Canadian media regarding every single player you'd take or didn't take. Believe me when I say that TSN will likely have an entire 1-2 hour special when the roster is announced. I'm not saying Canada isn't extremely fortunate that we have lots of hockey talent, but there's a very good reason a man like Steve Yzerman was chosen for this job and that's because he knows what and who it takes to win. Also, who the hell is gonna yell at Stevie about the decisions he makes? Not me!
