Based on what we have seen all season I think that Ericsson has been a huge mistake for the Wings. Kindl may get better in time but he is usually paired with Ericsson and I am not sure that will help his game. I wonder if Edmonton would take him for Hemsky?

I agree with the fact that he is not getting quality shots off. He does not seem to go into the hard areas that you need to to get a quality scoring chance. One thing I do know is that Z is all heart and if we are seeing it I would imagine that its killing him that he isn't contributing more on the score sheet. Maybe an off year that is made worse with frustration???

Abby needs to play with some edge. He is at his best when he's being a pain in the ass. Maybe needs to go for lunch with Maltby and learn some tricks.

That sounds good to me also. It does leave a big hole in our defense though. Suter is not going to be had cheap.

Zetterberg should not be suspended for this. The guy loses an edge and falls into the boards. Zetterbergs hand was on his back but at no time did his arm straighten in a pushing motion. If Z gets suspended for this Andrew Ferance will get life behind bars.

I have thought of this as well. Datsyuk, Bert, and Mule I think need to stay together. I think that Z's line is the one that needs to get going. I wonder why when our power play is not very good why Babcock doesn't keep Pav, Bert and Mule together? Use Homer with Z and Flip. But getting back on topic. I think that it really depends on who's brought in and who could be moved out.

News flash: Vancouver can never host a WC for three reasons 1. It rains there just about every freeking day 2. Everytime the Canucks lose a major game their "fans" wreck the city. 3. Everyone hates the Canucks.

I hope your right Harold. I like this team too but not sure how deep in the playoffs they get with this line up. Even a minor change could inject some hungar.

If Hemsky is healthy at the deadline he might make an o.k rental. His games played over the last couple of years is not good at 47 and 22. He may be cheap because of this.

If Lidstrom plays another year and Stuart stays as well. I hope that they go after a real good goal scorer. I would like to see Hudlers money go towards that. We are in big trouble if Stuart and Lids go in the same year. Suter would be great but he is going to get offered crazy money and is he worth it?

I think Scott Arniel is probably a good enough coach but he didn't have much of a chance in Columbus. That team needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom. Hitchcock didn't last there and he is one of the better coaches in the league. I wouldn't be surprised if Brent Sutter is gone from Calgary before the end of the season.

The spirit of hockey dies a little every time there is a story like this. The sad thing is that this kind of crap is happening more and more. I think true hockey fans would be shocked to know how often it does and is not reported. Sad.
