Not a big surprise when you consider that most game are won by one goal and most of our goals are scored on the PP. It does show that we are not getting much offence out of lines 3 and 4 yet which I hope changes soon. It makes me wonder what our record would be if our PP sucked though

Does anyone know how the whole " nobody makes more then Nick " deal effects all these signings? I thought when Nick signed his last contract that he and Kenny made this deal. If I remember correctly?????????? Marian Hossa did take a pay cut to play here this season but he also may be worth 3 times what he was offerd last year if he wins the MVP and the cup, do to playing with an allstar team. I guess if he stays or goes we all win!

Franzen is a great player but by no means top 20. Top 50 well....maybe. Put it this way if he is top 20 he would be looking at a 5-7m contract and the Wings are never going to pay him that.

Does he hve a NTC in his contract? Could mean a s***load at the deadline if we keep Mule and Hank????? I would hate to see him go though

I think if Cleary could get his game back to what we got from him last year he would be a good fit with Mule and Hank. Cleary can grind it out in the corners and keep some of the pressure off Hank. I feel that Huds is better suited to play against 5th and 6th D-men. Flip just dosen't look comfortable on the second line yet but I am sure he will be soon.

Greetings All, I am new to this site and I must say it rocks. However, what the hell is up with all of the player bashing on here? I have read " Worst player ever" I don't know how many times and everyday it is someone else getting called down. I know that we all have opinions and like to express them but I think that a few are going to far. I see that it is the common theme to tear apart Lilja on a day to day basis and sure he makes some bad plays but how many goals does he save by his shot blocking.....lots. Cleary has been getting roasted and why? He was a monster for us last year and now some are questioning his heart and his skill? The list could go on and on. Don't you remember who won the cup? Or are you a real Red Wing fan. I just wanted to say this is an awesome site. Don't let these bashing threads ruin it! Cheers!
