Yes, Franzen is learning from him. If you watch the games you will see Franzen occationally standing in front of the crease just like Homer. Holmstrom isn't here to put up points. His job is to make sure the goalie doesn't see the puck too often which is something they don't put up on the score sheet.

They showed early in the game that they wouldnt allow any cheap shots. Chicago just couldnt adapt. It's funny how big an impact Kronner's hit on Havlat had.

I think it has to do with the fact that Sweden and Finland are the only good hockey nations in Scandinavia which has started a huge rivalry between the countries. Im Swedish and the games against Finland are always the most important ones to win (Love my moomin neighours though
