I'm torn, on the one hand I want him as a "black ace" callup for the playoffs, as the verteran presence, but on the other I don't think his role is needed anymore...

I know you're trying to "call it as you see it" but this is unrealistic. Capitals I guarantee you will have home-ice advantage in the first round. Look at the division they play in - Thrashers, Hurricanes, Panthers, Lightning - no way those teams can compete with the Caps. They have incredible firepower to score 5 goals a game with. Their problem is the defence. Goaltending is "okay" it will win a few games, keep between 2.50 and 3.0 GAA. When it comes to the playoffs, we'll see but they're still the best team from the east in my opinion. I'm actually not sure how well Fleury will play for the Pens, he seems to be a gamble and inconsistent come playoffs. Also without Gonchar it's going to be tough on them. Philly I don't believe in cause I felt they got lucky into the final.

They have giguerre, 2nd tier defence core, and some scorers. With the right coaching (arguable) they could slide into 8th spot. Just depends on the goaltending imo and Giggy is hit or miss.

Ozzie's playing like a backup from my view. (which is better than regular season Ozzie) and Ericsson was an idiot on the goal, already yelling at him before they even got out of the zone lol. But, 1-0 with the Griffin team we've put out there is not bad at all.

I'm biased towards goaltenders so I say Ozzie. He's done a ton for us, and even in the midst of poor seasons I still love that guy.
