I didn't like the hit AT all. Factor in some homer bias, and it should (and hopefully will) be 2 game suspension. More would make me happy, but it's a shot to the head, a deliberate headshot, and has to be suspended. I think the hit on Cheechoo by Perry may also factor into this as well somehow. I don't consider it as bad as Brashear's though, Brashear hit a guy who was trying to get off the ice, Hudler was just unaware of what was going on.

I feel Thomas deserves it, he was much more consistent throughout the season. Best GAA and Sv% (i think) and I feel like he's got a huge impact on his team as well. All reason enough for him to win it. Mason was solid, but wasn't super impressive as the season closed out, but 10 shutouts is still very impressive.

If the Ducks win, and get forced to game 7, it's definitely Friday, so I'm guessing if we play the ducks we get Friday, Canucks may give us Thursday. I get this feeling Sharks may not be dead yet

I've always had alot of respect for Hitchcock and his success, so why does he decide to turn around and throw all that away because his wingers suck at anticipation? Look at the replay (someone else posted) and you can see that we're one step ahead, then after SEVERAL passes, we get the shot away. I understand that it's difficult to win faceoffs on the road, and losing a faceoff forces you to chase, but don't go whining about it when there's a good 10 seconds between faceoff and goal. *sigh*
