    TSN Power Rankings

I've never understood the Power Rankings either, I just figure you put a few good weeks together, you find yourself moving up, can't keep the puck out of your own net, you don't get the luxury of being #1. Standings tend to show the better overall team, steady winning percentage wins them.

    Criticize Holland?

    Your SCF or WCF pick?

This ^ based on current standings and current streaks, Sharks don't look to have enough energy anymore, and Jersey's won without Brodeur, learned how to score, and are a serious threat imo. Vancouver seems to have the Flames number, and experience advantage over the other teams. And Brodeur wins the cup with NJ to complete the record year. My "dream" final is Montreal and SJ... but I don't see that as a realistic happening. (I just had a dream last year it was hapening)

this is probably what Devorski felt on the goal: Positioning restricted movement from Mason, that was my point of view at least. But it's not O'Halloran and we have a 2-0 lead, so it doesn't matter anymore.

I think the right call was made... Homer was in the blue when the shot was taken. I think that's the current status of the rule. Either way, 1-0 on Hossa goal

If the Wings find a way to win; they become the first team to clinch a playoff spot.

3/14 GDT: Red Wings 5 at Blues 2

With the 8-2L Sv% of .907 Without 8-2L Sv% of .965 Either way, he's playing like a normal goaltender now, as long as he gets better i'm cool with it.

Has it been mentioned that the Wings are (tied) #1 in the league? Cause Cleary did that, Cleary gave us that point

    Scary Goaltending Stat

Interesting how despite being injured for a part of the season, our goaltenders started 84 games?

3/10 GDT: Coyotes 2 at Red Wings 3 (OT)

SJ's 2nd win since losing to the Wings. And Franzen's just doing his late-season charge thing, how many GWG did he have last year?

tavares passes all time OHL scoring record

I like Tavares; I think with his attitude, and personality, he's a better hockey player than Crosby. I liked what I saw in the World Juniors. Thing will change when he does hit the NHL, but hopefully he doesn't get as much hate as Sid the Kid.

    Holland's Tie-Breaking Rule

sounds good to me, just as long as you dont have to add points for regulation wins, and just check it out at the end of the season. Keep it simple.

    Colleen Howe passes away

Always hate to see a life go, prayers for Gordie and the rest of the Howe's to stand strong and remember her smile.

Whats with all the back to back games?

Someone mentioned the mileage above; we're not too horrible, just have alot of back to backs. I don't think it's possible to have an 82-game season without back-to-backs, and if they didn't, the NHL would probably be losing money, no money = no NHL = no more Wings. On the other hand, the number of back to backs we have could theoretically improve our stamina and give us a better shot at the cup. Kind of like a strength-building exercise where you work to exhaustion, recover and get stronger.

I blame the travel, and with Colorado you can also question how the altitude affects the players. Either way, gotta deal with it.
