First off, sorry you have to visit Flint. We usually leave Flint about an hour and a half before puck drop, that way we do not feel rushed. Traffic downtown is pretty light, but we take 75 south, to 375 to W. Jefferson to Washington to Congress and park on the Cobo Roof. You can also park at Greektown Casino, in the parking garage, and walk up through the casino and take the People Mover to the Joe. As far as food, Cheli's/Hockeytown, and the Pegasus in Greektown are good bets. The aforementioned ideas are good ones too.

I'm not sure you realize how spoiled and out of touch with reality, hockey wise, that most of us are.
