So.... The Wings have been kicking it out to the point all year. We've been complaining about it, saying 'Take it to the net'. Now, they play the Sabres, who seem to be playing REALLY deep in there own zone. And do we see any passes to the point?

I just got back from the game. I thought we had a good game overall, with Ozzie to blame for the first goal and bad D on during the scrum in front of the net on the 2nd. Ozzie looked good and overall I didn't have a problem with the way anyone played. The refs missed a couple of calls, but we got the W anyway. See you all next game! Sorry about the pic, too many Foster's during the game to take a good one!

My response to Duck Guys post was all in good fun. I have absolutely no problem with him whatsoever, he seems like a stand-up guy when he posts around here. Everyone's in a bad mood about the Wings and I wasn't going to let a 'LOL' directed at them go unreplied to.

I believe Howard's last year of AHL eligibility is this year. I expected the Wings to just let him go at the end of this year, as it seems the Wings brass is far from impressed with him. As am I. But with our current 'goalie problems' I'm not sure what will happen. I'm VERY interested to see how Larsson plays in the first 1/4 of the season with the Griffins next year. If he plays well, I'd expect him to supplant Howard on the team, as Howard has been the definition of inconsistency.
