The 'play like crap and still win' bubble has burst. My thoughts are: 1. Fix the PK. It's terrible and EMBARRASSING. 2. Fix/Bench Osgood. Either send him to the minors (not joking, he'll clear wavers) and bring up one of GRs goalies, or just play him every 5 games to give Conklin a rest. It's not like he is absolutely terrible, but he's not making HUGE saves (he is making BIG saves, and yes there is a difference), and that's one of the reason we are losing games. I just feel that he is not playing confidently, and that's carrying over to our defense. 3. Accountability for lack of team play. Unfortunately I think that this is hampered by our salary cap problems. We can't bench *Maltby/Draper/Kopecky*(anyone with a crappy +/-) and bring up guys from GR because we don't have cap space. Perhaps we should dump salary before the trade deadline.
