9/25 Pre-Season GDT: Chicago Blackhawks at Red Wings

The defensive breakdown on that second Hawks goal was ATROCIOUS. Bert's shootout goal was sick (but shootouts still suck) I'd like to see us fix these 10-15 second spurts, 2-3 times a game where no one on the ice plays defense. Or I guess we'll just have to score 3+ goals a game again. -
Preseason injuries suck.

I didn't think we were too bad last night, besides a couple of defensive breakdowns. I thought everyone (especially Pavel) looked pretty good. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the preseason goes. Was nice to just sit down and watch hockey...that's for sure.

Another classic Wings player gone. As a huge fan of Draper, I really wish he could've stayed another year. He and Kenny know better than us, though Best of luck, Drapes.

FYI: mgrossiTFP Michael Grossi by TheFourthPeriod Ken Holland confirms that Joey Macdonald will be the 3rd goalie. Still looking for a back up. #redwings

I just assumed he would be offense asst. coach. I don't know anything about him but the regular media reports that came out of WMU. I figured if he had been assigned to the defense coaching position it would've been announced as such.

Interesting choice, hopefully it turns out well. I'm more interested to see whom will be the new defense coach. Are they supposed to announce the new defense coach as well today?
