It hasn't. The NHL brass would have to have balls to do that, even if it is warranted. I think players would actually think twice knowing they could be suspended without pay for weeks for a hit.

Canucks are on fire. Just to be fair to our injury problems, the NHL has told the Canucks that they have to sit their top line. Let's just get through this with no injuries, no way we'll win unless the Canucks have a very bad night. LGW!
