Then apparently you don't visit this forum much. On a semi-serious note, Smith has played forward several times at the NHL and AHL levels. He even started at least one game this year. He wasn't Dustin Byfuglien but he created some chances.

Out of curiosity I went back and looked at Ozzie's stats heading into the 2007-08 playoffs and the 2008-09 playoffs. Of course we know what happened in 2008 and 2009. 07-08 G43. W27 L9 GAA 2.09 save %.914 (Ranked #1) 08-09 W26 L7 GAA 3.09save %.887 (Ranked 40th) -

Yeah....that's what got me on this track. I was also looking at his mask to see if it was new. The soft goals have just been atrocious. Maybe he's been hanging out with Cleary a lot and has gotten "foggy glass" eyes. -

I wonder if Jimmy is literally not seeing the puck at all. Some of his softies are because of no or slow reaction. I'm looking for anything to explain it these days. -

It's a good thing other teams helped us out because we literally can't beat a playoff team. And we have the worst goalie among playoff teams. By far....no argument. -
