This entire team is playing their collective worst hockey of the year.

Then why do you even watch? Getting playoff experience is better than having an early offseason.

I'm afraid we're going to need more bad plays by Smith to designate him as "horrible." since the "he's horrible" penalty box is too full right now. 😬

Usually takes about three games to get a player back up to speed but in Helm's case he usually needs a few more games. Dats will probably need a few games as well, unfortunately.

This is where I think Babs misses the Forrest for the trees. I think he literally doesn't see that guys need a scratch just to get their head straight. Big E needs to sit.

Cover the goal on the short side( goalie discipline 101), and save your D's arse from time to time. 3rd goal was not his fault, that's why I said 2-1 Wings. At worst, 2-2.

I'm gonna ignore the "butthurt" comment but I guarantee if you asked howard if he should have had two of those goals he would say, yes.

1. There's no bashing. He's let in two that should have been stopped. I didn't say he sucked or make a "bashing" type comment. I'm sick of hearing someone is bashing Howard if you state the obvious: he hasn't been good at all.2. Your goalie gets paid to bail the defensemen out from time to time. He hasn't done that very much at all. 3. You can make excuses all day long but it's not just me or the people in the blog saying this. Mickey, the coaches, hell....even Jimmy has said he hasn't been good.

Should be 2-1 Wings. Howard is not giving us a chance to win.

I don't care what "breaks" Jimmy is getting or not.

If you defend Howard, you are wrong.

Every opposing team knows that all you have to do to beat us is to put pressure on our D and to shoot the puck over Howard's glove.

As has been the case during this horrific stretch our passing is just atrocious.

Not based on the posts I see. I'd say it's more like 20%.

Unfortunately there are two major groups of people in here that post about howard. 1. Nothing is Howard's fault. He's just unlucky because of bounces and the people around him let him down. vs 2. Everything is Howard's fault and he only makes the easy saves. There's only a few of us in here that see Howard as a decent goalie (not elite) that lacks the athleticism to be great. This is to say that Howard's Celing is not as high as the top guys. Howard's usually good at positioning but lately he's been off. That last goal was the perfect example of this.

Jimmy Howard is average. Not terrible, average. However, since he's come back from his injury, he's been one of the worst in the NHL.
