Weiss, Cleary, Sammy, keeping Franzen over Hossa. Just to name a few. Don't be fooled, there are trades to be made for defensive upgrades.

I hate to agree with this because I want to believe he gets the most out of our players but we never score goals like other teams do (one timers, two-on-ones). B. Shannahan might never score a goal in Babs system. On the other hand, if we had good shooting defensemen, we would score tons of goals. Something's gotta give.

Not sure about the math of this but if my calculations are correct, our chances of scoring may actually increase if we had shots on net.

I kept saying it two years ago but we should have traded Helm before people figured out he was just a smaller more injury prone Kris Draper. -
