Huge save.....our defense is absolutely horrible

I agree with firing Holland but not Babcock. Babs builds his entire game around good puck moving defensemen and solid defensive play. Just look at the Canadian national team as an example. The defensemen were the center point of his offense. Of course we had that when we had Lids, Chellie, Stuart, etc.

Overmatched....outworked....and outcoached. Not to mention the extremely fragile nature of this team. The team has no leadership right now so I feel pretty confident stating that we have little to no chance making the playoffs. Last year Jimmy stood on his head, Z carried the team and our schedule was amazingly weak down the stretch.

Most unimpressive win of the season but it's still 2 points and one game closer to getting our fragile players back. We are desperate for leadership. -

We don't have the easy (end of the season) schedule like we did last year. I just don't see us making the playoffs without D & Z 100%

Defense, Power Play and Goaltending are the biggest weaknesses. Holland and Babs have done little to address the 1st two. Can't blame them for Howie's play. Holland has one more off season to prove me wrong but I'm convinced we need a GM change.

Of all the issues surrounding this team, the inconsistent play with a man advantage is inexcusable.

Hope our young defensemen are NHL ready soon since Holland won't be able to make us better via trades.
