Smith and Cleary.....there's a reason they are the whipping boys game after game. -
Kronwall makes WAY too many bad plays to be considered a top pair defensemen.

Me thinks this is the price you pay when you have a team full of highly skilled players that are not big and strong. I don't think it's a coincidence we have so many injuries. Combine this with our move to the Eastern Conference. Maybe this is the price many predicted. It's worth a thought.

I guess the refs aren't even trying to hide it anymore. Question: does the money the refs get paid to throw the game count against the Lightning's salary cap. It should.

Occasionally, we will have Big E or Kronner with a nice stretch pass but those are VERY rare these days. It's clear our defensemen are mostly one dimensional. To me, that's the biggest difference between 2008 and today.

Well.....we could go ahead and sign Cleary for 15 years at 500K per season and could free up some more space. I'm sure that's what they are doing right now.

We need everybody healthy, perhaps a legit sniper and for Gods sake PLEASE GET A REAL TOP TIER DEFENSEMEN, and we'll be fine. However, if I hear Holland say "we like our team" one more time, I'm gonna revolt.

PP and PK......not Babcock's strength. There's no reason to be this bad on the PP year after year.
