I think the Kindl's of the world would agree with your last sentence. Some guys need the challenge of the big leagues in order to excel. I also feel Nyquist should have been with the big boys all year.

Actually, I'm kidding but I do think its much easier to be a great GM when you have a big wallet and no salary cap (or a robust one). HOWEVER, this ever decreasing salary cap has not only given other teams a chance at the Cup but players no longer feel like they have to go to Detroit to win one. It's not all Kenny's fault but he needs to get busy in the offseason! Go Wings!
