LEGITIMATE QUESTION: Isn't it time we stopped (including opposing team brodcasters) saying that our AHL players are "over-seasoned" by the time they are called up? I just don't see it.

I Guess it's true that a defensman really needs 4 full years in the league before you can write him off. To be honet, I was ready to write Kronwall off until 2008. He made so many boneheaded plays.

I hear ya and agree for the most part but injuries aside there are some alarming issues that should have and could have been addressed. 1. PP is just awful. They look totally lost and you can't really blame this one on injuries. We've been bad at this for a while. 2. PK has been even MORE awful. This has nothing to do with injuries. Period! 3. The team has been SO inconsistent. this is the worst "slump" by far but this entire year has been the most roller coaster year I've seen. In the past, if the wings REALLY needed a win they could buckle down and climb their way out but this team has been different. 4. No moves at the deadline despite really needing a Big Forward. ...not giving up but there are some monumental obstacles to overcome in the next 10 games. Can it happen..sure! I hope so.

Don't worry....Washington is probably tired from playing and traveling last night so we will wear them down....oh wait. Well, at least we play a real crappy team next....wait again.
