I know Drapes wasn't the prospect.....I'm just hoping we're not still saying this about Helm three/four years from now. I really do feel he's close....just needs to work on finishing. Everyone knows this though.

It just feels like Helm is one season away from having that breakout season.....but was the same thing said about Draper? Honest question.

Right before the All-Star game. It was meant to be a compliment but it wound up sounding kinda backhanded. He also said this team works harder than any Red Wing team he has coached.

Yeppers. If Homer cant't tip, we are kinda doomed it seems. I can't count how many times we have had a 3 on 2 with the slot WIDE OPEN and we pass to the winger for a VERY low % shot. I'm sure we are hoping for a rebound shot but good goalies don't give those up very often. Sniper is needed.....Shanahan-type
