I agree. I like Commodore. I think he's a nice guy. I've been following his Twitter feed and he has really embraced this city. But from a hockey perspective, he hasn't been cutting it. I'd much rather see young blood making mistakes and learning on the ice. Instead, we have dinosaurs out there making mistakes.

I love Holmstrom, but he's no longer effective. He skates as fast as Larry Murphy (present day Larry Murphy, not even NHL prime Larry Murphy) and he's got bricks for hands. Pull out Homer and put in some young blood. Besides, when he scores anyway it gets called back.

Neck-break counter: Pronger: 0 Bertuzzi: 1 Bertuzzi has broken infinity percent more necks than Pronger has. Although his "physics" hit on Holmstrom was pretty dirty and made Holmstrom even uglier than he already was.

It's too early to tell. I've been a HUGE Ericsson hater, but from what I've seen in the first four games he's been marginally better. I'm doubtful I'll think he's earning what we're paying him, but I want to at least give him a chance. Ken Holland is always right (exception Jason Williams), so I have no doubt that I will be proven wrong.

I agree with you, Stuart was in slow-motion mode. Ericsson did alright. I wasn't impressed by him, but he didn't seem to make any huge mistakes. Our win can be attributed to one main factor: Konker
