Hello. I'm a Red Wings fan. Can you please explain this "fighting" concept?
-
ABBEY!!!
-
That's not really funny to pick on people with mental handicaps...
-
Wings have momentum, refs better call a penalty on us.
-
ABLEKADABRA!!!!

GO WINGS!

Ericsson sucks donkey balls. Did Babcock just tell Bertuzzi to get an instigator?
-
Does Comcast on-demand having any good free movies in HD?
-
Except for two DoG penalties we're doing great.
-
Wings must score next or they will lose.
-
We should probably stop giving them 5 on 3's....
-
Yup, it is sad. It'd be fun to play the two goals side by side and ask ourselves "Which one of these goals was called back for goaltender interference and also got issued a penalty?"
-
I thought the Wings did good. They actually played physically. Ericsson only had two terrible giveaways, which is a new record low for him for a period. The Homlstrom wave-off+penalty was bulls***. We've seen people SIT ON TOP OF HOWARD, INJURE HIM, AND ******* SCORE WHILE ON TOP OF HIM and have the goal count. Yes, Holmstrom made some contact with the goalie, but the goalie made contact first. The "boarding" penalty was bulls***, Erat 1) had the puck 2) wasn't facing the boards 3) was facing the man checking him but had his head down The Wings needs to just keep on doing what they're doing. If the refs continue to screw them over there's just nothing they can do, you can't control a jobbing by the refs.

2:00 Checking Ok, Wings scored, what do we do? Call it back, Holmstrom was on the ice. You know, just to show the Wings we're not messing around, call the goal back AND give him a penalty. Ok, a Nashville player just received a clean hit while he had the puck while facing AWAY from the boards? f*** it, call him for boarding anyway. Just keep calling penalties until Nashville scores, OK?

Boarding? How? Erat was facing away from the boards?

LOL Hey Erat, sit the f*** down.

What the f***?

100% agreement. Ericsson is a tower of suck. A shining beacon tower of suck. Ericsson can't skate fast. He can't hit. He doesn't keep the net clear. The only thing Ericsson is good at is passing the puck to an opposing player resulting in scoring chances and goals. Ericsson. Frickin'. Sucks. -
Funny thing is that I don't think too many people are mad at Lupul. He should have been more careful, but I don't think he intended to injure Howard. I, like others, am very disappointed that goaltender interference has different thresholds for different players. Holmstrom merely just need to have his butt accidentally and momentarily brush up against a goalie and that will waive off a goal. But then in this case Lupul skates into the crease, falls on top of Howard (with some assistance from Draper, but Lupul is the one that put himself leaning over the top of Jimmy) and then Lupul scores while laying on top of our goalie's head and somehow that isn't interference, but yet we have countless example of Holmstrom doing far less, sometimes Holmstrom doesn't even MAKE CONTACT with the goalie, and we get goals called back. Pfffft!

I blamde the democrats that don't watch Fox News.

Holmstrom sneezes near goaltender - NO GOAL, 2:00 minute penalty. Player scores while sitting on top of Jimmy Howard's head inside of the crease - GOOOOOAAAAALLL!!!!!

Boston is worse.

There should have been a suspension. I don't think there was an intention to break his neck, but you've got to be WAY more responsible than to push a guy head first into a glass wall.

The slo-mo video is a bad angle AND bad timing. What you can't see is that just before he starts to wind up Steve Ott ducks. Steve Ott is literally between the linesman and Demers. So Demers was trying to punch Ott, Ott ducked, and he nailed the linesmen. Because Ott is a total D*ckhe*d, it is forgivable.
