What else is on Thursday nights?

Dallas scores. Damn Ericsson sucks. Oh, he wasn't out there? Screw it, Ericsson still sucks.

Very bad. He's terrible. He flat out fricken sucks. Huge but never hits. Shoots but never scores or even gets it on net. No speed. Doesn't just give up the puck, but he always gives it up in a way that leads directly to a goal. Ericsson is the worst defenseman on the team, hands down. Worse than Amazon Kindle.

I sat in 202B last night in row 18. The seats were good. I don't think there's a ceiling in the section because there's a suite at the top. I think the one's with a ceiling at the top say "Obstructed View" and they really mean obstructed view because the slope of the arena isn't great enough and you have to stand the entire game to see over the people in front of you, especially if you're short. But 202B row 18 where I sat was a great seat. Best part is it's right by the Gordie Howe entrance, I always end up on the first people mover train!

Well, his numbers have been up. For example I've seen a significant increase in giveaways in the defensive zone leading directly to a scoring chance or goals. Datsyuk still checks harder than Ericsson. Although I did see Big E drop the gloves in defense of his teammates a couple times this season, so he gets points there. I guess the big thing for me is I want to see less giveaways and better shooting. He's been doing that today, but I'd like to see it every night. When you're on defense there's a much lower tolerance for mistakes.

As much as I loathe Ericsson, he's done well this game except for a bad icing in the first.

LOLOLOL I think it's a directive from Bettman or something to not give out penalties when Holmstrom is on the receiving end.

Osgood's number won't be retired. He's good, but not that good. The only number I can see hanging up soon is Lidstrom's 5.
