I hate Crosby as much as the next guy, but this was a great play and Fleury is now added to the list of entities that received a bailout. Between the fight and this selfless play, I feel like I could start to like Crosby if only he could stop whining and diving.

Wow... This game might as well be in the books. So we've got 13% of the season done. We're to the point where we can start project forward based on past performance. Do I dare say the Red Wings are going to be on the outside looking in hoping to fight for a playoff spot later this year? The Wings have just looked like the Wings that finished the 2009 SCF, just plain impotent. GOAL!!! GO WINGS!!!

Defensively we were good. I think Howard should of had the second goal, but other than that I was very impressed with him. Simply put, we need to be able to score 3 goals on any given night.

16 - No 24 - No 91 - No 16 - I miss the guy, but numbers should be retired on sympathy 24 - I like the guy, but I don't think he played long enough here 91 - No thanks, once again, he's not a lifer Lidstrom deserves retirement. No other currently Red Wings deserve retirement. Draper - Not good enough McCarty - mainly a goon, not good enough Z and Dats haven't proven themselves yet.
