Great job Ozzie. This time Ozzie really came through big. He made some huge, difficult saves. I'm bummed that he didn't get the shutout, but to think his GAA is .75 is just AMAZING. Plus, we were in hostile territory today and did so well. Good job boys! The series score is 12-2, which is just mind blowing. Woohoo!

This is the true test, how will the Wings do on the road. I feel the Mason has been broken. The first game he looked good, the second game he was just average. It's odd that the NHL would choose just one team. I can understand not using the Red Wings, but to focus all your national advertising on using a team from one market just doesn't make sense. The NHL should use a wider variety. For example, we should be seeing a lot of Alexander Ovechkin and Pavel Datsyuk, and heck through in a few amazing Mason and Brodeur saves. Constantly spamming your fanbase with a team\person that many people can't stand isn't good. And it's not because Crosby is good, it's because he's a whiney crybaby that does lots of little cheap shots and he's also above the rules because he's got Bettman on speed dail. If the NHL is trying to appeal to a wider audience, then they need to use broader advertising. It is odd to see all this footage from the finals, it's almost as if the Penguins really won. I think the perfect advertisement would show Marc Andre-Fleury running out onto the ice, tripping, and landing on his face.

Agreed. Normally this kind of stuff wouldn't warrant suspension, but I totally agree with what the NHL is doing here. When the game has been decided and you can't win anymore, you just can't go after people with cheapshots, especially star players.

I agree. It just angers me how they let some obvious ones go and then call stupid stuff later. For example, Holmstrom gets gang raped in front of the net by the oposition over and over again, then when we return the favor, just once, we get penalized. I don't understand how almost every team gets away with cross-checking the heck out of Holmstrom. It's like he doesn't have equal rights or something...

They show it about 50 seconds in. Well, I must say that I've agreed with both suspensions the NHL has handed out. In both cases they've been reckless, intentional blows to the head late in the game. Too bad not everyone can be a "model franchise" like the Penguins; Crosby only crosschecks people when the refs aren't looking.

I hate how NBC is slobbering all over Crosby and the Penguins despite the fact that Philly is dominating this game. Normally I don't cheer for anyone but the Wings, but I've been cheering for Philly hardcore. I love their crowd and all the "Crosby Sucks" chants.
