Hell no. It would be a discredit to Yzerman and Lidstrom. Don't get me wrong, I love Drapes, Homer, Maltby and Mac, hell, look at the name I post under, I love Holmstrom! However, they just aren't the guys you hang up in the rafters, they're just not "Yzerman good".

I haven't been overly impressed with Franzen or Sammy this season. I'd rather keep Flip and Hudler, who are young and much more consistent.

I must say I was was impressed with Osgood. A solid performance. There was very little he could do on the first goal. I'm very disappointed with the piss-poor inconsistent officiating. The officiating is almost making me not be a hockey fan. It's a bummer that the real score should have been 4-1. When you put our freaking top line in the box all at the same time (when only one penalty is legit) that's just sad.

And they're $15.00 inside the Joe Louis Arena!

What a bunch of ******* bulls***. The first penalty against the Wild was bulls***. The next penalty against Hudler is total ******* bulls*** as the penalty should have been against the wild. I can see calling Hossa for the hook, but then calling Pavs at the same time for what he did when they're already down? Why don't they just blow the whistle and give the game to Minnesota? ******* refs are ruining the game. I'm close to changing the channel because of this bulls***.

If he can get his game back on track that would be great, but he's got A LOT to prove and only a few months to prove it. I will admit though, he's made some very amazing saves and has started looking better lately, but he still needs to improve and be more consistent.

Darren Freaking McCarty..... I love this guy, love what he's done for the team, but what do you do with a guy that can't score, can't hit, and can't fight anymore? But the crowd, myself included, does love him.

He is the cheapest of all cheap shot artists and created a what was nothing short of a fairy tail where the Red Wings brawled with the Avs, a fight started by, no joke, IGOR LARIONOV, where McCarty suckered Claudia into a turtle shell and Mike Vernon kicked the every loving s*** out of Patrick Waaaa. Then the Wings come from behind, get it to overtime, and McCarty, still pumped up from handing out Claudia's ass on a plate, score a mother freaking overtime goal and starts spinning around on the ice like a dredel. You simply can't beat that. And then the icing on the cake is a successful stanley cup run that involves eliminating the Colorado Avalanche. 2) Patrick Waaaa is an arrogant cry baby. The thing that pissed me off the most was Waaaaa getting away with removing the testicles of our forwards with his goal stick. Also, the stupid son of a ***** wore a jersey that doubled as a parachute for dropping military vehicles from cargo planes. 3) Pronger is a son of a *****. He's a cry baby. But the thing that pisses me off the most is the hit he put on Holmstrom. Pronger then claimed he didn't do anything wrong. Since when is elbowing someone in the back of the head and sending their face in the boards acceptable? I guess it's easy to say when you're too tall to have it done back to you. Although, I must say that I am glad Pronger is all right after what happened to him in the playoffs the one year when the puck hit his chest causing a cardiac arrest, that was very scary.

Well if the Red Wings can score 6 goals or more they might be able to win with Osgood in the net. Osgood just plain sucks. Osgood is the worst goalie in the league, and that's not an opinion, that's a fact if you base it off of save percentage. Osgood has one of the highest GAA as well and has failed to goose-egg a team yet this year. I hope Babcock benches Osgood for the rest of the year and the playoffs. Don't get me wrong, I am very greatful for the Stanley Cups that Osgood has brought us, I love the guy and everything, but his performance and statistics can't be ignored. On another note, FSN-HD, WOOHOO! That is simply the best! Nothing is better than a home game with Ken and Mickey in crystal clear HD.

There's only one thing I hate more than George W. Bush, and that's 9\11 conspiracy assholes, especially ones that equate 3,000 people dying to hockey media coverage.

Those are just plain horrible. I don't know if the frenchies will wear them, but I know that no self respecting American in Detroit, Boston, or Chicago would ever wear anything like, even if it was an original six throwback. Those jerseys nearly induced a grand mal sezuire.

I also really liked Aaron Freaking Ward as well. He was great in the corners. I never knew Scotty was such an A-Hole, but I was much younger in those days.

LMFAO. I think the Ovecheckin would make the best spokesperson. Crosby is inflamatory to fans of other teams because he's a crybaby ***** that sneaks in little cheap shots, slashes, and cross checks all game long and gets away with it. Ovecheckin is fun to watch, has TONS of emotion, and is a very good player. He would be MUCH better than Crosby and also Datsyuk. I wonder what it would be like if Datsyuk was the spokesperson for something.....

All of us that use WOW Cable have to pay a little extra to get the digital box for Versus, which is channel 306. We also now (as of 2009) also have to have a digital box to get FSN plus which moved from WOW channel 14 to WOW channel 195. I have no issue with needing a box. My main issue is that WOW cable currently does not carry Versus in HD. I plan to start a thread for the next game that is on Versus that will unite us wing-dings and call up WOW to complain and threaten to switch to Comcast which has Versus in HD.

Wow, these refs are being brutal to the preds! Good thing the Wings are disciplined otherwise we'd be seeing penalties too. Micky was right, the hooking call was bull. I'd love to know the reason behind the unsportsmanlike, it must have been good to call it on a team down 2-0 in the first. I think the preds are going to sloppy in the second and will get rough, take even more penalties, but it might work out in their favor if they can get emotion and the crowd into it.

Yeah, I'm dissapointed. I love watching the Wings in HD. I hope that next season they're able to do more games in HD. Thank goodness I at least get FSN+. WOW Cable recently moved FSN+ from their analog range (14) to the digital range (195). So the WOW customers that have TV's without cable boxes won't be able to watch. My other pet peeve is Versus games because WOW doesn't offer versus in HD. I always make sure to call and complain every time a game is on Versus.

There's a lot of things I don't like about the "new" NHL, but one thing that I do like is that we play Nashville a lot. They're a fun team to play against. I'd start hating on Tootoo, but I'm still recharging my hate-o-meter from the game against Crosby. I'm glad Conks is starting. Babcock gave Osgood plenty of chances. Osgood comes up with some really good saves, but bottom line is that while Conklin isn't 100% consistent, he is still significantly more consistent than Osgood.
