So, I think it is safe to say that the Wings have played bad hockey the last month. You're going to sit there and tell me that your "good" coach Babcock hasn't busted their balls by now? The coach can say all he wants, can whoop their asses as much as he wants to, but it's up to the players to step up and LISTEN to the coach. Talk is talk, actions speak louder then words. And the Wings are obviously not listening to their coach and haven't for the past month, and I find it VERY hard to believe that Babcock has waited this long to give them an "ass whooping"

Just because Babcock's pissed means the teams going to pull it together in the final stretch? A coach can say he's "dissapointed" and yet the team will still play crappy. A coach's word isn't always going to be the answer. And you don't time losing streaks. I still am sticking with my statement.

Duhh.

At this point, the Wings have as good as a chance of winning the rest of their games as the Sharks do.

No we would like the next one.

Oh well Ducks can take this one everyone knew the Sharks wouldn't win both back-to-back games. I'm actually not worried at all. A pointless game.

Bad start for the Sharks but then picked it up towards the end of the period. And I would just like to point out that I hate the extra OT point since most of the teams the Sharks and Detroit could face in the 1st round got at least a point tonight.

That's not the case for me since I talk on there more then I do on here. I only reply on a topic here that interests me.

Great post. And thank you! And of course, I hope your Wings crash and burn in the playoffs and my team lives up to its potential because they are a different team, a better team then past seasons, and hopefully they will prove that during this post season.

Because both the Sharks and Wings forums are HOCKEY forums. If someone is a Sharks fan or a Wings fan, they are obviously a fan of hockey, and if they were true fans, they would be willing to talk about hockey at any teams boards. I post here and on the Sharks forum because I like to discuss hockey with other teams fans, to see their opinions. I have agreed and disagreed with quite a few posts on here, and I think it's fun to talk with other teams fans. If you don't agree with me, then don't read or reply to my posts. Easy as that.

Thank you! And regarding the post about me posting if the Sharks have lost, yes I would and I have had quite a few times. I call it how it is and if the Sharks play horribly, I will say they played horribly. I've done it before.

Like I said, every year is different. The Sharks aren't the same team they were last season.

Quite honestly, I see a 2nd round matchup between Detroit and Calgary more likely then your scenario and if that were the case, it would alot more difficult for one of those teams to come out and play as well as they can against whoever they will be facing, whether it be the Sharks or not.

Not the best effort by the Sharks, but a win is a win. And to everyone who thinks the Sharks will choke again, please don't make assumptions. Every year is different, and I'm sure nobody can argue that this year has been the best Sharks season in the last 5 years, if ever.

Actually, it sucks more to be a Flamer at this point. And no, it doesn't suck to be a Shark or a Sharks fan at all, but thats just me!
