Well said. "Idiocracy" was such a threatening movie to the Republican party / conservative leaders that they lobbied Rupert Murdoch not to release it in theaters and he was more than happy to oblige even though his studio produced the movie. Every other major studio offered him a brinks truck for that movie and he wouldn't allow it to be shown. (similar to what they tried to do with F 9/11 until one company stepped up and got it out there) Not only is this scary censorship that has no business in America but it's telling that they don't want a movie out there that educates people about how stupid we've become. I spent 7 years in Washington DC and there are lobbyist there working with the RNC to dumb people down as much as humanly possible and they have 15 angles that are all working simultaneously. If you study no child left behind all it really does is force teachers to spend most of their time with the bottom 10% of the kids (who will still work at the mall for the rest of their lives) while ignoring the top 10% who could go onto to do bkg things like being responsible for science, technology or the creation of future jobs in the country. If a party picks Sarah Palin over Susan Collins you know who they are catering to. I'm originally from Indiana and I loved asking my buddies meant when they said john Kerry is a "flip flopper" One maybe 1 out of 30 people had a clue and it still made no sense because Kerry voted to authorize war and later voted against a whole different issue, the funding not being allocated towards troop supplies and gear. He didn't want no bid contracts going to Cheney companies like Halliburton for tasks they weren't qualified to perform. But naive people heard "flip flopper" a million times on TV and radio and repeated it like silly sheep. In other words......."Idiocracy" in real life.
