Well I wasn't shocked...pissed off would be more appropriate. Either way, the Sharks can only blame themselves. They have to stay out of the box. I've basically spent about 30 minutes being livid and cussing at the TV. Thankfully my roommates understand. Some things just aren't right. You guys win the cup last year, then get to add Marion f***ing Hossa? Seriously, where do you guys think your wings would be at this season without the guy. He's amazing. I hope it gets better for my team...I was really looking forward to this game and now I'm just angry. Today was my Friday, I don't want this to ruin my entire weekend.

2-0 Panthers over the Bruins now

The way Dallas is playing right now, they're a very dangerous team...amazing considering they're without richards and haven't had Morrow who is an absolute beast. I heard today that Morrow could be back for the playoffs. They're the last team I want to see the Sharks play in the 1st round. If the Sharks and Wings are to meet for an epic WCF, they'll have a couple of big hurdles which will be no joke.

Every team has fans that the other fans of the same team aren't proud of...there are always exceptions, but thanks for the nice comments. For a place where the only natural ice comes in the form of windshield scrapings in the dead of winter...we're pretty passionate out here.

You guys are so lucky to have Lidstrom on your team. There's no one like him. They should rename the award after him when he retires. I'll be rooting for Boyle, but if I had a vote it would go to your guy. People that vote for Chara simply aren't watching the games. Chara is very good, but not on Lidstrom's level.

Just thought I'd chime in here, I hate Turco. He loves to take shots at whoever is setting the screen in front of the net. Hardly ever gets called.

Oh come on, are you really trying to imply that the Wings travel schedule is just as hard as Vancouver's? At the same time, I agree that this sounds like sour grapes from Vancouver. Yeah, they have to travel a ton, but this is nothing new. Deal with it. Blaming your losses on travel is pathetic.

The question was posed to Setoguchi, not Boyle. It's ThorNton, not Thorton I understand how fans of other teams would view Joe's comment as cocky, but I think it Joe was half joking, as well as making a point to a young player like Setoguchi. If as a player, you're viewing the other top team in your conference as the best instead of your own team, you're approaching the game with the wrong mentality. I think Joe was just reminding Seto what frame of mind he should be in.

Yeah I saw that too...instead of going right to his teammates to celebrate, Joe skated back around to say something to (I assume) one of the nuck players. I (again assuming) can only imagine that there was something going on well before that. From there it escalated, and when the Sharks scored in OT and the other team was skating off, O'Brien of the nucks whos was already pissed at the refs, decided to semi-cheap shot clowe, which if you know the type of player clowe is, set him off big time. Most of the nucks team was already off the ice and the Sharks exit is at the bench, so all the sharks plaers were still on the ice. That's the version I saw.

I agree with you guys on the goalie interference call. I think Nabby totally embellished it and it wasn't goalie interference. Also, I don't remember if it was Hossa or someone else that totally took a dive after getting a tap on the shin from a stick, but there was a clear dive from a wings player also. The slash on Big Joe was a very clear slash, but yes, Joe did do a bit of acting to make sure it got called. If the reffing crew called a more consistent game, the players wouldn't have to make a big scene when a penalty happens. The crew the reffed the Sharks/Wings game also reffed the previous Sharks home game (vs the flames) and in both games Frasier and his partner let a lot of things go. I can understand why all the players did what they did. The level of reffing needs to improve, and both Sharks and Wings fans alike can only hope that the best refs make the playoffs and the shoddy ones see no postseason action. The Sharks and Wings are two teams that would obviously benefit from good reffing, letting their skills be used fully.

Just to verify, I went back to my DVR and watched the Marleau breakaway goal frame by frame. I had it freeze framed with the puck clearly across the blue line and Marleau's skate on the ice, on the blue line. He was onside. I'll admit when I saw it live I thought my team got away with one, but it was a good non call. He was on.

I wish I could say the same, but as a Shark fan I'm worried about everyone come playoff time.
