ooooooo borderline interference call there.
-
Pens finally break through.
-
Varlomov is standing on his head. Should be 4-1 Pens by now.
-
Thanks...but not all of us rock. I certainly do though.
-
how did that not go in....

Fair enough. It's an emotional game and us fans can be equally, if not more so emotional. I agree, never should you get in a child's face in the manner that was described. In the end we're all just hockey fans, and there's not enough of us. We need more, and we need to help grow the game. No hard feelings.

Which referee called the "penalty" on Stuart last night?
TheSupafly replied to Bump's topic in General
Perfect clip of it. Not a penalty. Not really even close. -
Pens need to come out fighting for their playoff lives in the 3rd because....well.....they are.

I don't have to single you out, you've done that yourself. I hate the wings and their fans - False Trolls should go away - True Me having a problem with that - False Me having a problem with your continued swearing and uninstigated mistreatment of other fans and you interpreting everything from another team as a flame or troll post - True. I'm not alone, read some posts.

Caps escape the 2nd period tied at 1. They only have to kill about 1:17 of power play when they come back for the 3rd.
-
Pens pouring it on now...maybe for the first time all series that I've seen this kind of sustained pressure.
-
Why bother mentioning what happens every minute of every ducks game?
-
At least they mentioned the bs penalty and showed a clip of it.
-
lol I was thinking the same thing.
-
Bad bounce off the back of the boards and Fleury is out of position. Guess who happened to be in the slot at just the right time to bury the puck in the net....1-0 caps.

2 wrongs make a right? C'mon guys. Everyone agrees that the majority of people/fans are not the types that are going to start fights and yell profanities at kids. All sane people agree that what happened to ShanahanMan is seriously messed up and should not happen. Security needs to be beefed up in Anaheim. Ducks4cup, questioning the validity of a story by a poster that's been here for a while when you yourself have just shown up is going to be seen as pretty insulting. Basically you're going to be seen as calling him a liar, it doesn't matter if you didn't mean it that way or not. HockeytownRyan, "PISS OFF DUCK ***** go back to your own site....."...I'm pretty sure that's not the type of thing the bulk of the people on this site and the mods want being thrown around here. If you're trying to escalate things, you're doing a good job.

During the next couple of games, pay a little extra attention to the Ducks when they retreat and turn around and skate into their own zone to get a puck dumped in deep. Watch the paths that they take when they turn and skate back. They are experts and interfering just enough to slow down the forecheckers but not enough to cause the refs to make a call. Sometimes the interference is really bad and should draw a call but it's never called, even less so in the playoffs. This slowed down the Sharks' forecheck significantly and it's doing the same in this series.

I hate the raiders too. Ugh. Solution: Instead of using age as the qualification to legally consume alcohol, why not use an IQ test?

Thank you. The people in socal kind of just treat the games as another party and an excuse to go out. The game itself isn't always the main attraction. Again, I'm generalizing and there are good hardcore ducks fans out there...just way less of them. They don't sell out their playoff games for a reason. Too many other things going on in the LA/Anaheim area and people just don't care about hockey that much.

Fact of the matter is that the ref wasn't in the proper position to make the right call. I know that I've personally seen some refs go so far as to jump on top of the goal to get in the best position to see the puck. The ref was out of position, and that's why he blew the play dead. Did he do what he was supposed to?...as far as blowing the play dead when you lose sight of the puck, yes...as far as being the best position to make the proper call...no. s***ty break guys.

AO has such an amazingly fast release and so much power WITH accuracy on his one-timer. Pure scorer.

Surprising to hear this...I love the current playoff format. The introduction of the shootout was tough for me to take but I've finally accepted it (not that i'm for it, simply acceptance). Please don't mess with playoff overtime. In my eyes it's the most dramatic spectacle in the 4 major professional sports. I love it how it is.

Converting on the power play made the difference in this one. Special teams will be huge going forward. Good game guys. Good luck Sunday.

tada!

Agreed. I'm sick of hearing about Hiller about as much as I'm sick of hearing about swine flu.
