Cleary got beat clean there...can't let that happen.

Have faith. The wings will win the 4rd period, and thus the game. Kings of the 4rd!!!
-
Wings will pull away in the 3rd period and win. 4-2 or 5-2 final depending on empty netters.
-
all tied up again.
-
Well they're certainly not afraid to make calls in this game...

yo ding dong ding dong yo

That was a fantastic screen in front. Hiller couldn't see anything but the back of 2 jerseys.
-
There it is. 2-1
-
PP coming. Cashing in would be good.
-
Depth will be the difference in this game and the series. Wings have it, ducks don't. Wings will take over in the 3rd.
-
I shall pray for this tonight.

That's one so far on the PP....another is coming.

That was a terrible terrible hit. I hope that assclown gets suspended big time.

Getting interesting.........

Excellent points. I agree with you, and of course by no means is Doug Wilson blameless. He bears the bulk of the responsibility, but as a fan, with the limited knowledge that we get, I'm pleased with the team he has been able to put on the ice...as far as giving them the best chance possible to win the Cup. That's one of his main jobs, and I think he's done a good job of that. Clearly some of his moves haven't paid off, but I'd like to see him at the controls a while longer.

Tell me about it. Overpriced redhead underachieving bastard.

Chicago has not looked like the young fast team that they are supposed to be. Nucks have had the majority of the play and good scoring chances.
-
That's what they thought because it's true. The ducks lack offensive depth. They will need more secondary scoring to handle the wings. Plain and simple the Sharks didn't get the job done. They also failed to convert on the power play close to the frequency they needed to. I don't think the wings will come up short in that department. I'm not saying it's a slam dunk, and it will be a hard fought and close series. I just think the wings have too much depth and wont falter in the areas that the Sharks were weak in.
-
Personally, I think the wings will expose the lack of depth on the offensive end of the ducks. Outside of the Perry/Getzlaf/Ryan line, they aren't deep. Selanne does the bulk of his scoring on the PP. Ducks have a great group of D guys, but the wings can roll more lines that can score consistently. Wings will take the series.

I still like Doug Wilson. Has he made the right moves? Clearly not...but from watching all of his interviews, and actually asking him questions in person, myself, I'm convinced that he is 100% dedicated to bringing the Cup to San Jose and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. As for what to do with this team now? I have no freaking clue. I think you have to look at Marleau and Thornton obviously. Marleau has a no trade clause, so that's tough. Thornton could bring a lot in return, so he may get shipped out. Nabby just hasn't been on top of his game all year. Bad year or a sign of things to come...not sure. Lots of other small pieces that could be tinkered with. Clowe is a guy I want locked up, he plays with grit and finishes around the net. Pavelski I would keep. Michalek should be moved. Cheech can go, but he still is a good 3rd line player. Blake isn't going to get any better. Boyle is a must keep. I'd kill for an Iginla type on the top line. Superstar + Heart. I can't believe I made that last minute drive to socal to see game 6 in person, just to watch them fail again.
