Listen junior, you're un-provable prediction is meaningless. I'm simply stating the fact Osgood has the worst Save% of any goalie in the last 5 years. Osgood is going to let in 3-4 goals every game on average, it's not the D's fault at all. I am being fair. I'm not making up these stats. He's the worst goalie in the league. Yes perhaps, but to honestly believe Osgood's 3.2 GA and the worst Sv% in the last 5 years among all goalies, is the D not playing well, is bs. He's really bad. You would think this team would wake up and at least try to get the Presidents trophy. Detroit lucked out last season with an easy play-off draw.

How many times this season has someone said that? So all 5 goals were Osgoods fault? So all 6 goals were Osgoods fault? That's just my point, he's not getting better, he won't get better. So might as well ride Conklin. This whole loyalty thing is getting old.

Usually, the majority of teams in the NHL have a goalie who can actually stop the puck from going into the net when a D/forward makes a mistake. Osgood can only stop weak shots, and is unable to make even a moderately difficult save.

Columbus is just a superior team. We better hope to god we don't get Columbus or Nashville in the play-offs, Wings will be eliminated in Game 4. Huge mistake was made risking the season on Osgood's performance. Scoring is meaningless when a goalie can easily shut you out. Yeah right. The forwards are playing fine, Mason is just better. What do you mean? Osgood hasn't improved at all, just because he had one good game between a series of bad games, doesn't mean he's improved. He's still the worst goalie in the league, and he's not even close to play-off ready.

One will leave, guaranteed. The Wings have 10 million next season to spend on 6 players, 5 forwards, 1 goalie. Let's say Hossa takes Zetterbergs deal, 6 million a season long term. You have 4 million left for 5 players, that's about more or less 1 million a player. How is that going to work? Even if you gave Franzen a modest discount of 2.5, you'd have to find 4 players who would take the bare minimum salary. In summary, that's why Flipulla has to go

So you're saying you wouldn't give up, lets say a 2nd round pick and some GR prospect? What harm could a trade like this even do? What if Osgood melts down in Game 1, what if Conklin melts down in Game 1? If even one of them completely breaks down (which is highly likely given this season), why not have a 3rd goalie who's proven he can rise above HUGE pressure?

You know, not many teams give up 5 goals in one period. I think the score here is rather funny, rather then worrying. I mean, what could you possibly do? Switching a D-man for another D-man won't help anything. Getting 2 new goalies won't help anything. But I think it's pretty obvious that more new faces need to be on this team, fighting for their first Cup.

No one actually thinks Flipulla at 3.0 million is the 4th best forward.

ATDHE always had pretty bad quality streams, and was laggy. Justintv has games too. I just gave up and bought Center Ice, even though I only watch Wings games, and miss about half of them because of work. It's worth it, it probably averages to 2$ per game to watch, and it's consistent and good quality.

He's a RFA, so he could be got for cheap next season. I don't see anything like this happening until next season, the Wings are owned by the cap, even though it might be a good idea!
