Right now on 97.1 they are talking about a subject that they're calling the elephant in the room. We're seeing Applicator, Helm, Ericcson getting some good playing time in the stanley cup finals. What they are doing it preparing the next face of this team. "In Holland We Trust", he says but the wings are going to change over the summer. They're talking about dropping 3mil on the cap resulting in a major change in our line up. Hudler, Sammy, Hossa..etc are probably gone in this scenario and we're prepping their replacements. Just something to think about.

I was disgusted with the play by play last night. If you were listening close you could hear the obvious pro-pens talk. It was like I was watching FS Penguins in s***sburg. Things like, "We really need to get some momentum here" and everytime the wings scored or had a nice play "well it looked like hudler got a quick hook in there to get the puck away". Disgusting

Im having trouble finding the evidence of the vast conspiracy to hold your team down allowing Detroit to advance. Did any of you watch the first period? I did, if there's any conspiracy its amongst your own teams players and their inability to capitalize on a 5 on 3. Why look for fault in the officiating when it obviously lies in the FACT that your team just isn't as good as ours. It's a difficult pill to swallow, admitting you're not as good. Thats why you look for excuses like "bettman wants a rematch det. vs pit. Yeah, how about "Come on... Ozzy holding? He was trying to push his fat ass off of him." These penalties were offsetting anyway. Overall in this series Chicago has had ONE more penalty called, and thats not even to mention the offsetting 4 on 4's. Bottom line. There is no conspiracy against Chicago any more than there is one against Detroit given the numbers. Friday night you may win in UC, but we will split 1-1 with you and come back to win in 5. Just as anyone who knows anything about the game of hockey has predicted. You're a good team, but not Wings good. That is why you lost, not a bettman conspiracy.
