Danny O calls Holmstrom for goaltender interference as if it's part of any normal Wings game. I can't begin to recount the number of BS interference calls he's gotten and disallowed goals because his "backside" aka his ASS was in the crease.

There's a hotel right near Cobo (which is across the street from the arena). It's about $115 a night. It's called Detroit Riverside Hotel. You should be able to get a room for the night there. Link to hotel page.
