Ah, yes. That would make it damn near impossible. But then there's the question of - did he print the tickets off the internet (like Ticketmaster)? If he did and could show that the disclaimer wasn't on his ticket or the site, he'd probably be able to get away with it. I still wouldn't bother trying, though. Way too much hassle.

I still remember the first Wings/Ducks match up this year and the GDT on this board was like "Wow, Getzlaf is amazing." That's when I decided to follow him quietly and adamantly. He hasn't stopped impressing me yet.. and he definitely adds an enormous amount of talent to the Ducks. On the dislike side, the only thing I dislike about Getzlaf is the jersey he wears. (Sorry!)

Technically speaking, he could sue if he really wanted to. Let's say somebody was walking in front of your house and tripped because your cement slabs were uneven and he fell, breaking his hand. The owner of that house could be sued since it happened on his property and he's liable for what happens there. Same with the Honda Center. OP could sue because, technically speaking, the owners of that land and building are liable for anything that happens on their property. It may sound a bit silly - but this IS America. Getzlaf is just an all-around good player, in my opinion. Everybody has their off nights, though. He's also logging some serious ice time. I mean 30+ minutes per game? I can imagine that's beginning to wear him down. If I were Carlyle, I would've benched him late in that game for the simple fact that he's one of my main big guns to use the rest of the playoff run.

No, it wasn't. And neither was the two-hand slash to Osgood's chest. This kind of stuff happens. I think it was a piss poor move on Ovie's part and it definitely warranted a penalty.. but that's what playoff hockey has become.
