Holy cow, people. When you have to merge threads about Crosby being a whiner.. that's when you know you've been talking about it WAY too much. You don't have to like Crosby. Hell, I can't stand him.. even though he's a great player. But arguing for fourteen pages over whether he's a crybaby or not? He's the Pens' captain. It's his job to cry to the refs. While I agree that some of the things he says to the media would be better kept to his teammates in the locker room.. I think we're all going way overboard with this anti-Crosby thing. You don't like him. We get it. Now give it up.

No, buddy. DETROIT had the 2-1 lead in '07.. only to have the Ducks come back and take it all. All the Ducks fans can talk about is how this is a carbon copy of '07. It's not. Time to hop into 2009. Detroit's offensive firepower alone make this series different. We have guys on our second and third lines who would make top lines on other teams, including yours. Getzlaf alone logs more ice time than anybody on that team. Anaheim has ONE line. Perry, Ryan, Getzlaf. After that, they've got Selanne. The Wings have three solid scoring lines. The longer this series goes, the more it favors Detroit. Your top line can't double-shift itself forever.

Of course I want Rafi back. Sure, we can handle ourselves (when we want to) as is, but imagine how much more dangerous our D would be with Rafi back in the lineup. Lids & Rafi? That's not even a question.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. It seems a bit early to pull him off and rest him. I guess we'll have to just watch the news and see if he actually is injured.

I'm not sure if he's injured or they just wanted to rest him up for game 5. The guy puts up some insane ice time.

I like that the Ducks fans are blaming the refs for everything.. and talking about how they're not sure who they disrespect more - the bandwagon fans who show up to their arena with the Wings jerseys and take over, or the people who are dumb enough to "not escape the sinking (or sunken) ship that is Detroit." Do these people not realize that 99.9% of DO NOT LIVE IN DETROIT? Nobody lives in that city. And the Wings need to either go back on the offensive or REALLY hold these guys off.
