We do. Most of us aren't heartless, as I'm sure you know. Most of us were hoping there was nothing seriously wrong with him to begin with. So that's great news.

Yes. You see, generally speaking, that's how a forum works. People make topics, say what they need to say, and move on. Shocking concept, I know.. but I took advantage of it.

I have to be honest.. the only thing that angers me more than the crappy no goal call is the attitude of 90% of this forum right now. Yes, it sucks that we lost the game when it should've been tied and that the Wings, once again, failed to come together in the first half.. but holy cow. Are you a fan of this team or just a fan of the W? You guys are acting we have no chance at all. Where's the faith? There's people on this forum saying the series is over and we should pack it in. I mean... really? What fan does that? Look at these threads. They're pathetic. We're so used to winning that when something like this happens, we want to throw our team under a bus one by one and watch them burn. We have a whole thread dedicated to bashing Datsyuk. DATSYUK of all freaking people. We have a thread calling for HOLMSTROM to be benched. Yeah.. the best goalie screener in the league - benched. Grow up, LGW. It's 2-1. It's the freaking WINGS. How many times have we seen them fight back with such intensity that we all had to sit back and say "That's my Wings". I love you guys, but my goodness.. be a fan of the damn team. Stop jumping ship and acting like the city is about to burn down. It's not. And if you think WE are feeling the pressure, imagine how the teams feels - and imagine what it would be like to find out that your "fans" have started trashing you because you lost two games in the playoffs. Knock it off.

I'm not saying it can be.. but I'll certainly take the power plays which we'll (most likely) be handed in mass amounts.

It's really not that difficult to grasp what he's saying. The call sucked, but there's nothing anybody can do to change it now. The Wings are going to be royally pissed and feel like they have something to prove. End result? Intense team and more calls going our way to make up for the blatant horrible one.

It should also give us a few calls in our favor next game.

That's absolutely horrible. I cannot believe somebody would be so childish and stupid. I'm so sorry to hear that. This type of crap disgusts me, no matter who it's from.

At the very least, this is going to give us a few more calls going our way next game. The refs have to know, after watching the tape, that they royally f***ed us over.

I really hope Wiz (and I say that because I cannot spell his name) is okay. I would never wish a serious injury on another player. For those of you saying that it's "good" or you hope he's out the rest of the series, etc.. imagine if that were one of OUR players? How would you feel if the Ducks fans were saying that? It's classless. I know we're all very passionate about the Wings, but it's a game. Be smart enough to not wish harm on someone over a game. Best wishes to Wiz. I sincerely hope there's nothing serious.

It's about time. Maybe this'll wake up the Wings. I still feel like the elbow to Wiz's face was horrible of us, though.

FIRST, yes - we played a horrible period of hockey. But let's not underestimate the team we're playing against. What you're seeing right now is what I honestly believe are the two best teams in the NHL head-to-head. Whoever wins this series is going to win the Cup, mark my words. SECOND, people going on about us having more hits need to stop. We had over double the amount of hits last game, too. That's the problem with this team in terms of physicality. It's not that we CAN'T be physical.. it's that when we up our physical presence against a physical team (Anaheim), we lose our focus on scoring. I've seen it countless times throughout the year. We are a FINESSE team. Not a PHYSICAL team. No matter how much that pisses some people off, that's the way it is. Suck it up and deal with it. Everything would NOT be peachy keen if we had someone to drop the gloves skating around the ice. Realize that. THIRD, we're down by ONE people. ONE. Not five. Not twelve. One. We saw proof last game that we CAN step it up when we really want to - we just aren't. By the way some of you are acting, you'd think we just got swept. Chill out.

That first line of theirs was out there almost every other minute on the ice. That's really where our depth came into play. Our guys could take longer breaks while they had to keep putting Getzlaf, Perry, and Ryan out on the ice consistently. But man, you could really tell when we needed a line change. It looked like the guys were crawling on the ice almost.
