I'm with you. I love that he doesn't beat himself up over thing and that he's confident in his abilities. Even though he's not playing up to par, I still love Ozzie.

Every coach is different.. just like every boss is different. They won't always react to things in the same manner. For example, I could always tell when Bowman was getting really pissed off about something by the ferocity with which he chewed his ice cubes. With Gretzky? It's how quick he is to stand on the player's bench.

He's always been that way - even as a player. I guess I just didn't expect anything else from him. There's a number of coaches who aren't afraid of vocalizing their opposition. Ever wondered what Patrick Roy was like coaching his son's games?

I can't imagine it would hurt Osgood like that. He's one of the most laid back goaltenders in the game. He doesn't get angry. He doesn't smack his stick on the goalposts when a puck goes in. He just moves on and pretends it never happened. I'm sure if we got a new goalie, Osgood would understand. As for Conks - I can't say. EDIT: My grammar was atrocious.

Sammy has been having an excellent season. In previous seasons, he's been vanilla pudding. I couldn't like him, but I couldn't dislike him... because he just never did anything to spark any emotion in me. This season he's really picking it up and producing. As for this thread.. I was chanting Franzen for weeks. But seeing how much Hossa has picked up his game and is working when he's on the ice, I'm going with Hossa.

Honestly, if I had gotten a call like that at the end of the game.. I'd be pissed off too. I think you need to calm down. He's a coach.. and his team happened to get dumped on at a very inconvenient time. Half of us on this board would've been just as angry in his position.

Look.. Ozzie just is who he is. He's not a number one goalie and he probably won't ever be. I don't expect him to save every shot. Would it be nice? Absolutely. But it's not realistic.. especially not from Osgood. Do I think he should've stopped some of these goals? (Like the one just scored?) Yes, I do. But I'm not going to spend 15 minutes talking about how much Osgood sucks. I know he isn't playing his game, you know he isn't playing his game - we ALL know it. I'd much rather focus on how much our team has improved since the last five games than how much our goaltending still sucks... because honestly, it's been beaten to death with a wooden stick.

I absolutely love Cleary. He may not be the biggest producer, but he works his butt off whenever he's out there on the ice. And he's over 20 points, isn't he?
