Ozzie, unlike the SJ game, made some key saves this time. He showed up big for the Wings when we needed him. At least one of those goals (I didn't watch the replays of the others) really wasn't his fault. It was deflected in.

Every time that commercial is on, my dad and I just about fall over laughing. It makes me wonder how many times he had to recite it to get it right.

There's no denying that professional cheerleaders & ice girls do charity fundraisers, etc. They would aid the franchise. However, the principle of it is what bothers me. There's other ways to aid the team. Other ways to draw in revenue. Other outlets to use. In other words, I can see the use for ice girls. I just happen to think that there are other ways to achieve the same goals without using them. P.S. - Good choice!

Yes, that time I jumped to extremes because I found this entire bash session to be incredibly ridiculous. (Not saying I'm not extreme anyway - but not usually THAT extreme.) Thanks for the compliment. Oh, and Joe might be a Congressman. :Facepalm:

I think I just came off in a way that I didn't mean to. I realize, going back and reading now, that I seemed to imply that anybody who didn't agree with me had no morals, class, or anything else of value to their character. In reality, that's not how I meant it. I just meant that the particular morals I hold for myself, I hold them very strongly. I didn't mean to say or insinuate that anybody else was less of a person or less "right" then I am.

I don't get offended. I get irritated. I understand that you don't get it. You're not like that. But it makes me uncomfortable to hear somebody talking like that six inches from my ear. Again, I'm not saying I'm right and you're right. And I'm not saying you don't have morals or class. That's how I was raised and as such, it's a large part of who I am. Those kinds of situations always make me uncomfortable - not necessarily offended.

Why would I think that? I'm not saying that people who want ice girls and enjoy those types of things are immoral and classless. Just that my personal morals happen to be different. I wasn't trying to say that makes my morals and opinions better than anybody else's.

Yes, I find actions that appeal to a man's sex drive to be degrading and rather immature. Clearly, that shows I'm a child. I better start adjusting myself to embracing the **** culture if I plan on getting anywhere in life - you're right. Also - Did I say I was correct and anybody else was wrong? I didn't. I simply said I have very strong beliefs in my own morals and opinions so you're not going to change my mind. I never said my opinion was therefore better than yours or vice versa. A lot of people think I'm wound too tight.. which doesn't bother me at all. I don't drink, do drugs, wear revealing clothing, or support/encourage actions that feed off of those things. The idea of ice girls WOULD be new for the Red Wings. I certainly don't tell the men to change their behavior when they're out drinking with their buddies - no matter how much I may want to. I know what I'm getting into when I'm brought to those events. But I see absolutely no reason for the Red Wings organization to feed off of the hormones of the guys in the stands. You may think I'm thin skinned. I'm just very strong in what I believe in. I have morals and class - which make up the majority of who I am. I love hockey and I love the Red Wings, and it would be insulting to me to add something so tacky and ridiculous into my hockey experience.
