What does Max Talbot have in common with Brian Campbell?

I love the guy who said Babs is one of the most unprofessional coaches & the biggest whiner. Laughable. Seriously laughable. -

Depth, depth, and depth. When our third liners can do a first liners job without batting an eyelash, you know we're going to be near impossible to beat.
-
I really don't think Crosby meant it as big of an insult as you're taking it. If anything, that's a huge compliment on Zetterberg's behalf. He's basically saying he's a very dangerous two way player and definitely someone Crosby needs to watch out for.
-
It takes A LOT to wear the Wings down - old or not. And it certainly won't happen in just one game. Call it one of Detroit's uncanny abilities.. but they know how to go out there and play their game without overworking themselves so that they're dead on the ice. The only disadvantage I see for Pittsburgh here is that their star players will have to be there star players and then some. They'll need that extra boost from the rest of the team in order to match the depth of the Wings. Depth isn't anything to scoff at. If the Pens can get more than three or four people going at top speed, they'll give us a hard earned run for our money. Otherwise.. I really don't see any advantage for the Pens at all.

Dayum. I would throw a whole bag of cookies at you if I could.

I can assure you that some of the people on this site are going to do everything you just listed and then some. But some of us are perfectly capable of giving credit where it's due.
-
That's not what I'm referring to. I wouldn't expect Pens fans to think they're going to lose. My comment was sarcasm over the fact that they actually think they have more than two star contributors. They don't. And if you shut down Crosby & Malkin, they're going to have to change up their game plan.. and fast.

It only feels different because I convinced myself that Anaheim was the toughest team we were going to face. So in terms of nervousness - I have about 0.
-
But noooooooooooo! They're much more than a two-man team! That's just a myth! ALL MYTH, I TELL YOU! Yeah.. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
-
That's hardly the same thing as saying he wanted to win the Cup. Even Crosby stated in an interview that if that was Hossa's reason for leaving, he doesn't blame him for choosing to go to Detroit. It was the obvious best choice to go to for that.
-
Pittsburgh didn't have that chance until a few major changes this year. At the time he made his decision, he had no idea those changes were going to be made. He made his choice based on the facts at the time - and it wasn't looking very good for the Penguins. As for the West being more difficult than the East, it doesn't necessarily mean it's easier for the Pens to get to the finals. It's difficult for the Eastern teams to play their own conference. If you took a West coast team and put them through the teams in the East to get to the Cup finals - the West would dominate. But the Pens are at the Eastern level so it'd be more difficult for them.
-
Coaches don't get fired because they're doing a great job. Something was up with the coaching, whether the Pens had been in the Cup final or not. In either case, though, Hossa saw the team going through their inevitable downslide and he left. I don't see anything fishy about that.

Arms-Crossed-Guy for President! Drake, just so you know, I'm not trying to make fun of you. I actually think the "I'm too badass to be on this site" picture works for you. It's just an epic name.
-
Let's just put it this way. In terms of defense, we've already faced the toughest team we're going to face... Anaheim.
-
Hossa was a playoff rental for Pittsburgh. He had no firm roots with the Pens. The coaching was terrible, his teammates (some of them) were leaving, and his lease was up. I'm pretty sure he knew that team was going to go south - which is exactly what happened until they fired Therrien and made some trade deadline decisions. And even then, they barely squeaked into the playoffs. He's 30 years old without a Stanley Cup. Who, in that position, WOULDN'T go to the team that just won it? That was/is his best chance.
-
I get sick of pretty much every Red Wings stereotype. Whenever I come in contact with a fan of a different team, they always say the same talking points over and over again. None of it is true - ever. But it's completely useless to debate with these people because as soon as you're done owning one person, another dumbass walks up asking for the same treatment. I've learned to pretend it never happened. If someone starts talking crap to me, I simply say "Stanley Cups" and that (usually) ends the conversation right there.
-
I like that the Pens are in Pittsburgh and I am not.
-
I wonder if Pittsburgh is going to piss a zebra again this year and block Wings fans from buying tickets.
-
You'll find morons in every fan base.. not just Pittsburgh's. If they think it's funny to bash Vladdy, that's their problem.. not ours - though I'd have to assume that not every Pens fan is like this. Is it classy? Not in the slightest. But what can you do about it?
