    Interview with Roenick

I love Drapes, but interviews just aren't his thing. Every time they interview him, I'm cracking up by the end of it. He says "uhhhhhhhhhhh" more than anything else!
  2. Yeah, I tend to be in the minority with my opinions, lol. But hey, to each their own.
  3. If all you're going to do is bash my family and myself for not thinking Hossa is worth all the money people are throwing at him, then there's really no point in responding to my posts. I'm not a child. And frankly, I don't have time for online fights.

    The Montreal Canadiens are overrated

The Habs are looking to get Hossa.. so we'll see how "overrated" they are if they can manage it.
  5. A lot of people don't agree with me - which is fine. I've been noticing it more and more since my dad brought it up to me during one of the games. At first, I defended Hossa to the death. Now, whenever he messes up, my dad says "GOOD JOB, HOSSA" and makes it kind of difficult for me to NOT recognize. Just watch for things like that in tonight's game. I'm not saying I'm right. I could just be seeing things out of nothing. But look for it and tell me if you do or don't start to see these little quirks he has. Also, Montreal is doing everything they can to get Hossa. I wonder how that'll work out.

    Interview with Roenick

If they're Canadian, you gotta add some more "uhhh"s in there. Like Drapes. Hahaha. "We uhhhh skated real well and uhhhhh lost some momentum".

    The Montreal Canadiens are overrated

He's right, actually. The Western Conference has typically been stronger than the Eastern Conference. It's no secret.

    RWNW AGAIN AWESOME CROWD!

Gotta agree. You guys are the best. It always fills me with pride to see our fans spread out over the country.
  9. I tried looking it up. Couldn't find any reputable sources.
  10. Rarely? I can't tell you the number of times that Hossa has had the puck and either given it away or had someone take it away from him. Clearly, we have differing opinions on the guy. I'm not saying he's a bad player. I just don't think he's worth as much money at teams are willing to give him.
  11. Haha, I can handle it. I'm older than 12.

    Worst Hockey Logos

I think I'm going to be sick.
  13. Last night may have been the exception, but most games Hossa doesn't really hustle. At all. He's not worth anywhere near what people are shouting that he is.
  14. I'd rather have Zetterberg than Hossa. I don't see Hossa staying anyway. I like Hossa because of his goal-scoring ability, but I definitely don't think he's worth all the money that Pittsburgh was willing to throw at him. He just seems slow to the puck, he loses it a lot... I don't know. I wouldn't pay him as much as these other teams are willing to. Plus, he only came to Detroit to win the Cup and then move on. I just don't see him returning. Zetterberg, I think, would be a bigger loss.

    Worst Hockey Logos

I think it's more the colors than anything. Their home jerseys make me want to claw my eyes out. -.-

    Shanahan joins Devils

Not respecting Shanny is like not respecting Yzerman in some ways. It just can't be done. That said.. I do think he got incredibly arrogant after he left the Wings. But I don't understand how some people can bash him when they realize what an asset he was to our team.

    Strap 'em up, boys!

    I'm aware. Thanks.

    Worst Hockey Logos

The only one I truly can't stand is the Minnesota Wild logo. It's not JUST the logo, though. It's the colors.

    Keeping this roster intact

No. I wouldn't rather have a "real #1 goalie". If we keep our defense strong, we don't need a #1 goalie. There's no sense in putting money between the pipes if you don't need it. Keep the money on D, and relax a bit between the pipes.

    Keeping this roster intact

I'd get rid of Filpulla. Rafalski can't be traded due to his contract. Filpulla just hasn't been performing this year. I don't know if he's going to wake up later in the season or what - but I'd seriously consider trading him.

    Strap 'em up, boys!

The NHL is changing far too much for my liking. Why don't we just give them four minute penalties if they so much as touch another player after the whistle blows? Maybe a suspension? Hockey is an emotional sport. By all means, regulate the fighting so that nobody gets seriously injured - but let them fight. You start instituting all these rules, and the players won't even bother fighting anymore due to the consequences.

    An Interesting Stat

Montreal won the majorty of their Cups when there were only 6 teams in the entire NHL. Since then, it's been a downhill slide. (For the most part.)

    Jiri Hudler

He's not underrated here, but he is everywhere else. (Which is PERFECTLY fine with me. ) I think Cleary is underrated as well.

Rumor: Hossa leaving after this season

I'd get rid of Lilja before anyone else.. and I definitely wouldn't want Malkin on the team. Sammuelson is having a really good run this year.
