Exactly, once you're a Red Wings, you're always one in the eyes of Mike Illitch. Why do you think Brad McCrimmon was hired as the defensive coach?

So when are they going to retire his number? Don't say he hasn't done a lot for the Wings because he has. I haven't seen a player wear 91 in the Red Wings since Fedorov, what gives?

If Lidstrom has to take less he will, he's done it before.

I hope he signs with the Wings, I want to see him lift his first Cup with Detroit.

I guess it's all a matter of opinion, but you won't be talking s*** about Flip when he's our next Datsyuk/Zetterberg. Flip's in the current situation where he's unfortunately working on the PK instead of the PP. Why don't I see Hudler on the PK?

I'm going to say this again...the Red Wings are not getting rid of Valterri Filppula. Do you guys even pay attention when he's on the ice? He's got great hands, can dangle dangle, excellent passer, and can hit when he wants. He reminds me of Datsyuk and Zetterberg when they first started on the Wings, does he not? Filppula's one of the best skaters on the team too, reminds me a lot of Fedorov. Once he gets his shot down he'll be unstoppable. All European players are taught to pass to the open man before shooting. What did Datsyuk do when he first came to the team? Pass, pass, pass, until Brett Hull told him to shoot more. There's no doubt in my mind that Zetterberg is telling Filppula the same thing.

Here's why you let Hudler go.... He's too small and cannot take a hit. As I said, he can't take a hit and coughs the puck up if he is hit. He's not that good defensively. Hudler's a decent player, no doubt, soft hands, and can score once and awhile, but I don't think there's a way to resign him.

I'm a big fan of Hossa and hope he returns. Sure he wasn't racking up the points expected, but I have a feeling if he stays and we bring in a group of hungry players, we might see our team back in the finals.

I've been over the loss since yesterday, not much of a big deal anymore.

It's nice to see other fans show respect towards our hockey club, we really appreciate the warming and reassuring words. I hope nothing more then the best for your hockey organization in the near future.

All I know is that Babcock believes in Poise. Every time they show him on camera during the games he's always screaming that. I don't like that fact that he thinks the veteran experience will bail the Wings out every time and simply say "We don't panic".

After all that s*** that the Penguins have said about Hossa, he's never going back to Pittsburgh.

Why does everyone think this was all Hossa's fault? Last year when he played with the Pens he was scoring a lot because there were only two other guys that were capable of scoring, Malkin and Crosby. I can't believe how some of you act sometimes. We lost the Cup this year, it was tough, but we had lots of injuries. One player can't carry the whole team. Hossa has bailed our ass out a lot of times in the regular season, which led us to another 50 win season and ultimately putting us in the playoff picture once again. Hossa is going to get his Stanley Cup if he stays with the Red Wings because I'm almost positive that the Penguins are not repeating next year, they'll get the Stanley Cup hangover this time and taken out in the playoffs. We have a good team and Hossa is the guy to wear the Winged Wheel. Our team is only going to get better from this loss and I expect some coaching changes over the summer (Hopefully we get rid of Brad McCrimmon).

That's why Z's going to be the Captain.
