I really think of the KHL like I do a tree in the forest. If I ain't around to hear it when it falls then I don't care it fell. I hate losing the talent but.....I'm probably alone in this thinking but to me the Cup is the goal of any professional hockey player. If someone can tell me if I should care(other than talent leaving) I'd be glad to rethink my position.

In the face of knowing there is no way to get this thread unhijacked by Nationalistic chest thumpers I would rather not officiate this game if I were Canadian. To much eye balling by both sides trying to find mistakes. No matter how you call it someone will be nutstruck. -
The slideshow they linked was cool, I like women who like beer. They carried a lot of pressure for quite awhile and they deserve a cold one. Christ, it was Canadian beer a least. You go ladies, a job well done. As for the cigars, I guess Red Auerbach wouldn't last long around there.

IMO the reason they let NHL'ers play is because it took a miracle to beat the Russians(Red Army team). Those guys were army guys like I'm an NHL guy. Nice win boys. Glad Hiller is in our rear-view mirror.

Hate to tell you this but your wrong too. The real matchup will be JR/Millbury at intermission. The gloves and headgear might come off for this one. On that note I'll think I'll just go vomit now and beat the rush.

2 words: Womens softball. The gap in talent got it removed from the games. I can see it happening with hockey. Expecting a team to ease up won't happen either. The losing team would look much worse if it turned into keep away(Think Trevor Thompson and Dats). Maybe a mercy rule is needed, but then it seems like Little League. Could you imagine watching it on a larger ice surface?

There is more traffic on this board about Hossa/traitor than on the couple Pitt boards I've lurked the last few days. I guess I know why this troll hasn't let this one go. We've humored this one way to long.
