Beckett limped off the mound the other day. Have to see how bad it is but not good for Bosox. If we can get home field, where homeruns go to die, and JV getting 2 starts in a short series I don't care who we play.

I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news of the Marshall football team plane crash. This is bad. Devastating is an understatement and my thoughts are with family and friends of the deceased. Sad day for sports.

As a Michigan fan I love what Brady has done since leaving UM. As a Lions fan I loved seeing him looking befuddled on the sidelines after our Dline rattled his cage a few times. Suh is a legitimate game changer. It's hard to be a qb when your standing on the tracks wondering when the trains going to hit.

If your a true hockey fan, not just a homer, you hope he recovers well enough to play again. Like it or not he is great for the game. Hell if all the players I disliked/hated never played again there would definitely be some serious contraction in the league.

Maybe, but in '84 you would be in good shape if you were downtown with a bag of marshmallows. That year the Tigers won and Detroit came away from it with a couple less cop cars. Virgins we're not.
