I've been watching the Wings since the 60's and I've never had a sour taste over ties. It was part of the game when I learned about hockey and I didn't occur to me to be sour about them. I guess I'm one of those old dogs learning new tricks guys. I do love the 4on4 OT's though.

Bingo. If they insist on keeping the SO then make regular/OT wins worth 3pts. There must be a reason to try and win in regulation/OT. Watching teams batten down the hatches to get to a SO sucks.

God, that got my Saturday morning off and running. That had the makings for a good 'Who's on first' routine. Hysterical. Leopold needs to quit taking lessons from RJ. Clean hit IMO, elbow looked tucked in and he hit what was offered to him. No different then a good Kronwall hit. It was good to see him get up and skate off under his own power.

Exactly. Of course Columbus is on another planet. After going to one UM/OSU game there it's the one place I would never go again. I will also say that if you bring an octopus into an opponents arena you should expect an ass kicking. I'm not condoning it but you shouldn't be surprised if you end up with a knuckle sammich.

No fooling. I was referring to the Jackets(losers) pissing and moaning. Winners play on(Wings/Babcock). The poster I was replying to wondered about our players acting that way. When it comes to the press they usually keep their mouth shut about bad calls.
