I've looked too, and I think stock is just really low for that Helm shirt because I've only seen it in XL and that was 2-3 weeks ago. I agree with most of his grades, but I would I have given: Abdelkader (B) May (B-) Miller (B+) and extra credit for his last awesome goal Stuart (A+) Osgood (B-) Babs & Co (B+ to A-) They've done very well in the last month and a half to fix the problems they can (defense) and improve other areas (goaltending). I think the change in defense will be the good foundation needed for a much better second half.

I agree with the main parts of the two statements above, and I feel we could have three different sets of lines based on each notion. With Leino and Williams: Holmstrom-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Franzen-Zetterberg-Cleary Williams-Filppula-Leino Eaves-Helm-Draper/Maltby/May Without Leino: Holmstrom-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Franzen-Zetterberg-Cleary Williams-Filppula-Miller Eaves-Helm-Draper/Maltby/May Without Leino and Williams: Holmstrom-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Franzen-Zetterberg/Filppula (Let them decide who plays center) Cleary-Helm-Eaves Draper-Abdelkader-Miller/Maltby/May Overall, I don't see the need for Babs to not make Leino a healthy scratch when he is not contributing at all, even if we are still taking a hit with his salary. For me, it costs more to have him on the ice producing less than it would to have him sit and have someone else in his place taking full advantage of the opportunity (i.e. Miller, who has shown more in his short time here so far). As for Williams, yes, he was good at the beginning of the season, but I feel he is expendable because the chemistry our current lines have is better as is without the addition of Williams and the readjustment necessary for him to gel with whatever line he ends up on, and to tell the truth, his absence has not been really noticeable. And while I know in all likelihood Abdelkader will be sent back to GR, I would love to see him remain up here because he has been one of the few guys to really show how hard he is working his ass off to make the most of the opportunity given to him while others are injured, and he makes his presence known on the ice each night.

If worse comes worse, we can think of this season as a bit of a slight stumble or a toe drag, not a fall. And usually after a toe drag a great shot follows, so we can only hope for an even better '10-'11 season.

Keep the healed injured bodies coming. No new ones, please.

In regards to Datsyuk, Babs has been double-shifting the first line, so I would guess they are getting a little worn down from that. You can only try to squeeze blood out of turnip for so long . . .

Lebda was paired with Lidstrom briefly a few games back, and on one play, Lidstrom was going to the corner, and Lebda was not in position, leading to a goal. So I really don't think it makes a difference who he's paired with. I've said it before, he could improve if he wanted to (or could have if he had wanted to), but I just don't see any drive or motivation in him whatsoever to become a better hockey player.

Anybody beginning to wonder if the real reason all the guys left in the off season (with the exception of Hossa, who was already injured) was a subconscious feeling to avoid the wrath of the injury gods? Jeez, this season is unbelievable.

I feel bad for all the reporters and how hard is must be for them (1) to continually come up with questions that haven't been asked 100x before in all the past losses, (2) not to laugh in the players'/coaches' faces when they regurgitate the same old responses, and (3) to not crack and just yell out in the dressing room, "Why the F**K can't you all play a damn hockey game like you mean it!?!"

It's like a love interest playing hard to get. I could take it if they completely stunk this year and had non-stop losses, but this win thrown in every three or four games is just toying with my emotions. I'm beginning to think that they only have enough energy, drive, and hunger for one game out of every four or five, the rest of which are spent storing up their resources for the next distant win and meant to make the other team, especially the goalie look like hockey elite. And I'm ready to go postal on any and all NHL refs if we get ripped off just one more time . . .

While I do like the "Hockeytown, No Limits" commercial, I'm starting to believe that this team thinks it means there's no limits to how far they will let the quality of their playing sink this year. Anytime the other team scores first, unfortunately, I automatically chalk up the win to the opposition. That first goal against is always the pin that pops our balloon.

I agree with all the posts so far . . . everyone has a Z jersey. I would say go with Franzen. He is still due to really break out, and I believe he will when he finally comes back and is here for a good length of time. If you do want to go with Z, maybe get a Winter Classic jersey to be a little different. I love how the number 40 looks on the back. For myself, one day when I have some extra cash, I'm hoping to get Kronwall or Helm, although Abby isn't far behind either.

Babs moves everyone else when they are not performing (i.e. Leino), so why not Bert. God, I feel like Pav is ******* Jacob Marley out there, and his chains are Homer and Bert. I know I kept shouting "Shoot the ******* puck, BERT!" I'm really convinced that when they play at JLA the fans need to hold up cue cards that spell "Shoot, Bert!" like the ones from Forrest Gump that read "Run!" and "Stop!" to tell Bert the Retard how to play friggin' hockey. It wouldn't give the opp. goal anymore warning than Bert is already giving them now.
