Who do you think will grow the best playoff beard this year? Considering we have a few newbies for playoff time, the vets might have some competition in that department. I think Eaves or Miller might give Zetterberg and Draper a run for their money.

The biggest thing I've learned about this team this year is to expect the unexpected. With such a rollercoaster of a season, there really have been no patterns to bank on. We all know this team has what it takes to win game 7. We saw it first hand starting March 1st. If they want to win, they will. If they want to go deep into the playoffs, into the Finals, they will. The best thing I can do as a fan is just believe in my team and support them, not undermine them after every loss. I'm officially changing this year's slogan: Hockeytown, No Limits I Believe!

Training camp is a lot of fun to go to, and once mid-June hits, summer seems so long without hockey that sometimes thinking about September is all you can do. I love summertime, but September for Wings fans is like what springtime and April is for Tigers fans. I'll be excited to see what changes they make to Centre Ice. Anybody have a picture of the 2010 Training Camp logo? Edit: Never mind. I found the logo myself:

I was noticing that coincidence too. What's strange also is that in the East, all of the series started with one team winning Game 1, followed by the opposite team winning the next three, bringing each series to 3-1, and finally the first team winning Game 5 to bring each to 3-2 with the exception of the Philly series. Again, it's not a conspiracy theory, just a notation on the unusual pattern each series has mirrored.

I had a nostalgic moment when I saw pic #9. I miss Downey! It's kind of funny because if they had signed him to the Coyotes earlier this season, we'd be playing against him. Thanks for sharing all the pictures. It's great to see the boys having fun. Love the one of Helm on his back too!

I think I saw the answer to that in Game 4.

I can't quite remember the song or title, but we were also singing along to something like "it's going to be a good night." I think that was in the second period.

I wondered if it would have just caught on with the LGWers and that would be it, but hearing 20,000-some fans all join in gave me goosebumps. Way to go, Jimmy! We love you.

Thanks for the video post! I wondered how loud we were on TV because I sure as hell know we were loud in the Joe. My favorite was the "Jimmy/Howie" chant followed closely by the "BULLs***" chant.

Me too! I was biting my nails from the five minute mark. I was thankful for the win, but I really wanted Jimmy to get the shutout. The chanting in the the 3rd period for him was phenomenal. What a great game! I have no voice what so ever. I was rocking my Howard T-shirt in 207. Just seconds before the second goal, I said, "We need a security goal!" BAM, the boys deliver shortly after and I was on my feet, screaming my head off! The defense looked very strong out there with only 1 bad turnover (*cough* Rafalski *cough*) that I saw. Where's Olympics-Rafalski when you need him? Really starting to think Z and Flip will be competing for MVP for the team. Flip just was amazing. And the Joe was just nuts at the end of the 3rd. I was screaming at the top of my lungs, and I could barely hear myself. Way to go Wings! You've made me one very happy girl. Great effort tonight. Bring it again for Game 5!

This feels like Game 7 last year just stretched over a best of 7 series. I'm not sure I even want to go to game 4 now.

Yeah, very excited to add a red bracelet. Just don't know how I'm going to fit all my letter beads on there for each guy's initials who scored. But I can't complain, although I might run out of H's and Z's pretty soon if this keeps up!

If you go through Detroit, about 5 hours. If you go through the Soo, about 3-4. Through Minnesota would be even longer than both of those, probably about 6+.
