Starting during the 07-08 season, (when I wasn't wearing it) I would put my Red Wings hat that I wore during games on a catalog that had a picture of Nick Lidstrom on the cover. During the playoffs I just left the hat there, afraid to disturb the mojo. When they won the Cup I replaced the hat with a Burger King crown. Hahahahaha. Besides that, the joke in my house is that "hockey exploded". We have pom pons, pictures, cards and clothes everywhere.

I agree, any loss sucks, but at least this wasn't too terrible of a game. Did anyone notice how it seemed like Jason Arnott was the only Predator on the ice? I wrote more about it in my blog, the link's in the signature.

I agree that either of them would bring a spark that the team is missing...but I'm not really a fan of either of them. Maybe it's because I tend to hold grudges. check the blog for more (link in the signature)

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if he wins it again, because he has managed to add another dimension to his game and still rarely see the inside of the penalty box. I think he gets better every time he steps onto the ice.

I really hope this whole "ten day break" thing worked out for the best. I know I'll be thinking happy thoughts of amazing kick saves for Friday... I miss the old Ozzie. Where did he go?

I meant a goalie injury. I was hoping we would have the Osgood from the 2008 playoffs this season.

I can honestly say that I wasn't expecting this. I really didn't think we would see Jimmy Howard in Detroit unless there was an injury... From what I saw at the Griffins games I've been to this year while I've been shunned to the west side of the because of college, he's playing pretty well. It should be an interesting weekend to say the least..

I'd definitely go with snapshots if you're looking for news updates and such. Abel to Yzerman has great insight and opinions on things and Hockeytown Static is good if you're looking for a laugh.
