It was a nice win considering they fell down 2-0 early. Nice resiliency. Big west road trip coming up.

I think the team is bored. Which is bad, because I want them to have some type of momentum heading into the playoffs. Some games we look like a cup contending team, other games, 1st or 2nd round exit. Would the real red wings please show up soon?

I will be there Saturday and during the warm ups I think a Ozzie chant is in store for the red wings as they come out of the tunnel . I will back whoever is in goal, Osgood has done a lot for this organization over the years. He may be rusty, but he has my support.

When that final goal when in I cheered. When I saw the replay of Datsyuk undressing poor Andreas I was laughing. Cheering and Laughing! Lets Go Wings! I don't see the point in picking the negatives in a win. Yes, our third line needs some drastic change (outside of cleary), and yes maybe this wasn't Howard's finest hour but this is a team game and it is nice to know the Wings can get the job done when not everything is clicking. Things are not going to be perfect for every moment of every game. I think as fans that really care we sometimes have a tendency to go over and aboard on our analysis. I'm just happy I can watch this team play and I know they have enough skill and drive to go far this year.

I agree, the first two games, I thought I saw a team that resembled that 07 - 08 team. Especially against the Ducks (granted it was the Ducks), I saw a team with a lot of depth, solid goaltending, and a sound defense. (plus effective special teams). While I have not been lucky enough to watch these last two games , this team is sounding lazy and just disinterested.

Which is upsetting because we signed Z to a monster contract and he was supposed to wear the C soon.

I have not been able to watch the last 2 games, but they do not sound pretty. From what I have seen the first two games (and last season really) Z seems to have really lost a step.

I'm not liking the powerplay so far.
